Wij zijn Romano en Natascha /

                          We are Romano and Natascha.

We zijn in 2014 verliefd geworden op het ras Maine Coon, niet alleen op het mooie uiterlijk maar vooral op het karakter van de Maine coon. Wij zijn een cattery begonnen met de naam Lojala Amiko dat staat voor trouwe vriend, wat dit ras ook echt is. De ervaring wat wij hebben met onze coons willen we daarom dan ook graag delen. Dit is dus ook de reden dat we begonnen zijn met het fokken van de Maine coon. We zijn een kleine cattery in Limburg het plaatsje Heerlen.

De kittens worden groot gebracht in huiselijke kring met al onze andere coons en huisgenootjes. De kittens zullen dan ook al gewend zijn aan alle dagelijkse geluiden. We willen dat al onze coons voldoen aan de eisen van het rasstandaard. We fokken mooie stevige maine coons die stevige poten hebben en goed geplaatste oren met pluimen op de oortjes en een goed profiel en een mooie volle staart.

 naast het uiterlijk vinden wij het karakter van onze maine coons ook heel belangrijk. De gezondheid van onze coons komen op de 1 ste plek, daarom worden ook alle testen gedaan. ( fiv/felv, pkd, hcm, pkdef, pra, sma en patella.).

We fell in love with the Maine Coon breed in 2014, not only with its beautiful appearance, but especially with the character of the Maine Coon. We started a cattery with the name Lojala Amiko which stands for loyal friend, which this breed really is. We would therefore like to share the experience we have with our coons. This is also the reason that we started breeding the Maine coon. We are a small cattery in the town of Heerlen in Limburg. 

The kittens are raised in a home environment with all our other coons and housemates. The kittens will already be used to all the daily sounds. We want all our coons to meet the requirements of the breed standard. We breed beautiful sturdy maine coons with sturdy legs and well placed ears with feathers on the ears and a good profile and a nice full tail. in addition to appearance, we also find the character of our maine coons very important. The health of our coons comes first, that's why all tests are done. (fiv / felv, pkd, hcm, pkdef, pra, sma and patella.).
